It’s the most important part of the game. It’s the reason you win or loose a championship. It’s the most exiting moment of the game. It’s the single moment that condenses all the desires. AC Milan is pleased to announce the launching of a new program in 2010.

The AC Milan Striker Academy, the program is designed to help the player score goals. We will focus on the proper shooting technique first and from there we will move to several different situation on how to score goals. The enrollment for this clinic is limited to assure the highest level of instruction attainable, assuring you of student to instructor ratios that only private tutoring can surpass.

With a player/coach ratio of 12/1 the AC Milan Striker Academy is a great environment to learn. Every move, every drill, every thought will revolve around the art of scoring of goals.

Here is the breakdown of the current curriculum:

• Long Range Power Shooting
• Placement Shooting
• Heading for Goal
• Near & Far Post Runs
• Small Group & Combination Play
• Dribbling for Speed
• Breakaway Technique & Tactics
• 1 V 1 Theory
• Attacking Numbers Up & Numbers Down
• Recognizing & Exploiting Goalkeeper Weaknesses
• Interval & “Pressure” Training
• Plyometric, Footwork & Speed Training
• Free Kicks
• Penalty Kicks

Practice Times: From 6:30 to 8:00 pm at College of the Canyons

Age groups are:

• 9 to 12
• 13 to 15
• 16 and 18

2010 Session

• September: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
• October: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
• November: 5th, 12th, 29th

(No training for the thanksgiving weekend)

2011 Session: January to March

Duration: The training is done 1 day per week for 12 weeks.

Cost: $300

What to do: Print the registration form and send it to the club office with the appropriate payment for approval.
